Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Processing Machinery Engineer to join our technical team based in Nangloi, Delhi. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of food processing and packaging machinery at client sites across Delhi-NCR. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning:
  • Perform on-site installation and commissioning of new food processing equipment, including mixers, grinders, ovens, filling machines, sealers, and packaging lines.
  • Ensure all machinery is set up, calibrated, and running according to technical specifications and client requirements.
  • Conduct operational trials and performance tests to validate machine functionality.
• Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:
  • Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) to ensure machine reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Respond promptly to service calls for breakdown maintenance and equipment failures.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Troubleshooting & Repair:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs.
  • Efficiently repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, sensors, drives, belts, and control panels.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare and submit detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and installation checklists for each job.
  • Manage and track spare parts inventory used for repairs and service.
  • Provide feedback to the design and manufacturing teams to improve machine quality and performance.

Technical Skills & Competencies Required

• Mechanical Expertise: Strong knowledge of gears, bearings, conveyors, motors, and other mechanical components.
• Electrical Expertise: Proficient in reading electrical diagrams, troubleshooting circuits, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and control panels.
• Pneumatics & Hydraulics: Solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, cylinders, valves, and controls.
• Machinery Knowledge: Hands-on experience with food processing machinery (e.g., snack food lines, bakery equipment, dairy processing) and/or packaging machinery (e.g., VFFS, HFFS, wrappers, cartoners).
• Tools & Equipment: Proficient in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, etc.).
